SecureTech is the ninth addition to Etihad Cargo’s suite of premium products and services.
Transporting consumer electronics, especially those powered by lithium batteries, poses unique challenges for the air cargo industry. These products are high-value, fragile, time-sensitive, and potentially dangerous if not handled properly. They also require special packaging, labelling, and documentation to comply with the international regulations and standards.
SecureTech is designed to meet these challenges and provide a reliable and efficient solution for Etihad Cargo’s customers and partners. SecureTech offers enhanced security features, such as secure and controlled storage areas, constant surveillance, and restricted access. SecureTech also ensures that the products are transported in compliance with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators Lithium Batteries (CEIV Li-batt) certification, which Etihad Cargo recently achieved.

SecureTech is launched in response to the growing global demand for consumer electronics transportation, which is driven by the increasing consumer demand and purchasing power, especially in the Asia Pacific region.
